A Stronger Voice, Together

The California Dermatology Advocacy Network (CDAN) serves dermatologists and their patients by building a strong, unified advocacy presence for dermatology in California.

Membership supports dermatologist-led efforts to:

  • Protect patient safety and standards of care.
  • Preserve physician-led, board-certified dermatology.
  • Engage lawmakers and regulators on dermatology-specific policy and scope-of-practice issues.
  • Strengthen dermatology’s voice in organized medicine and healthcare policy discussions.
  • Protect patients from medical misinformation, misrepresentation, and false messaging.

CDAN welcomes dermatologists who share a commitment to advancing patient care, advocacy, and the integrity of dermatology in California.

There is no cost to join CDAN. Membership in CDAN is extended to Board-Certified dermatologists who are recognized by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD) and American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

Members may choose to provide optional dues support to strengthen CDAN’s advocacy, outreach, and policy engagement efforts. Any financial support is entirely voluntary.
