Joining CDAN is simple and involves no cost to become a member. Membership in the Association is extended to board-certified dermatologists who are recognized by the American Board of Dermatology and/or American Osteopathic Association, and retired dermatologists.

Members who wish to further support CDAN’s mission may choose to provide optional dues support to strengthen advocacy efforts, policy engagement, and outreach across California.

Is CDAN a Political Organization?

CDAN is an advocacy organization, not a partisan one. We engage with all political backgrounds on healthcare policy issues that directly impact patient safety, scope of practice, and access to expert dermatologic care.

Membership in CDAN is extended to board-certified dermatologists who are recognized by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD) and American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and retired dermatologists.

Yes! There is no cost to join CDAN. Any financial support is entirely voluntary and appreciated.

CDAN works through legislative engagement, regulatory advocacy, physician collaboration, and community initiatives that protect patient care and the integrity of dermatology.

No. CDAN maintains full independence in all advocacy priorities. We appreciate the insights and commentary from our sponsors. However, CDAN’s legislative agenda, governance, and clinical perspectives are created, guided, and driven by dermatologists.
