About CDAN Foundation

Advancing Skin Health Through Education & Community

The CDAN Foundation is the charitable arm of the California Dermatology Advocacy Network, created to expand the impact of dermatology beyond the physician’s office and into communities throughout California.

Through education, outreach, and charitable initiatives, the Foundation works to improve understanding of skin health, promote the prevention and early detection of skin disease, and help connect communities with trusted dermatologic information and resources.

Our Mission

To educate, inspire, and serve communities through dermatology-focused programs that advance skin health and prevent skin disease.

Our Vision

A future where every community has the dermatologic knowledge, resources, and access needed to achieve lifelong skin health.

Turning Expertise Into Community Impact

The CDAN Foundation brings together the expertise of California dermatologists with opportunities to educate and serve communities across the state.

Our work will focus on initiatives that may include:

Built for California's Communities

California is home to extraordinarily diverse communities, each with different needs, experiences, and barriers to care.

The CDAN Foundation believes dermatologist expertise can make a meaningful difference well beyond the walls of a medical practice.

The CDAN Foundation is in its early stages of growth. As we build our programs and expand our reach, philanthropic support will help transform our vision into meaningful community impact, including education and prevention initiatives, outreach, scholarships, research, and new opportunities to improve skin health throughout California.

Together, we can build a healthier future for California, one community at a time.
